At that time, Athu Agung wanted to promote strawberries, which at harvest time the strawberries had no price at all, sometimes after they were picked they had to be thrown away. Satrawbery plants that have fruit must be picked, because if you don’t pick them, they will damage the plant itself.
Even if it is bought at a price of IDR 1,000, the farmers are still very grateful, however, Athu Agung tries to process it with various kinds of products to make it of higher value, such as processing it into: Frozen, Wine and Jam.
Over time, from various experiments that have been carried out, the freezing or Frozen method is quite effective. It turns out that with the Frozen method, fruit can last up to two years and is also more suitable for serving as processed Juice, Ice Cream, or jam. No less than the fermentation method for wine is also very popular with tourists who come to the garden.
Now the strawberry fruit is a prima donna product for the people of Pancasari Village, Suksada District, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. Yields are no longer a heavy burden to farmers. Yields are distributed outside the island of Bali, such as Java, Lombok, Kalimantan, Manado and the archipelago in Indonesia.
